We want to welcome our embroidery machine owners to this free club class. This class will teach skills using built in designs and lettering to create this adorable embroidered zipper pouch. Please call or come in to sign up.
Embroidered Zipper Pouch
Supplies and Prep
This project uses your embroidery machine for the design and a sewing machine to finish the process. If you are using an embroidery only machine you can bring a second machine or use the instructions to finish this project at home.
- Embroidery machine with minimum size of 5”x7” stitch field
- Embroidery hoop about 5”x7” or 6”10”
- Power cord
- Embroidery foot
- Regular sewing foot (zig zag/reverse pattern foot)
- OESD Design #21023 Lettering Whimsy (load your design to USB drive)
- Kimberbell blank #KDKB270 (zipper pouch)
- OESD Stabilstick stabilizer (cut to fit the hoop you are using)
- OESD Perfect Press Cloth
- 90/14 embroidery needle
- Isacord embroidery thread
- Bobbin filled with appropriate thread for your machine (60 wt for combo, 90 wt for emb only)
- Frixion or chalk marker
- OESD Tear away tape
- Small scissors
- Wonder clips
