Park Place - Medford

Oh sew amazing! You won’t want to miss this series. It’s one of those projects that you will appreciate for years. This quilt is well worth the  time. Sew Kind Of Wonderful outdid themselves on this one. There are 13 days of class time for assistance with this beautiful quilt.

SUPPLIES:

Basic sewing supplies
Needles
Thread
Scissors
Rotary cutter (45 mm)
Seam ripper
Pins
Rotating mat (optional but helpful)
Machine in good working order. Power cord and foot control. (Have you changed your needle recently and cleaned the fuzz out?)

SPECIFIC SUPPLIES NEEDED FOR THIS CLASS:

Wonder Curve Ruler by Sew Kind Of Wonderful
Tweezers
Cutting mat (combo cutting/ironing helpful)
Small iron (this pattern has extensive ironing)
80/12 sharp microtex needles
¼” foot (preferably without the flange)

YARDAGE REQUIREMENTS:

The book calls for fifteen 1/2-yard cuts of fabrics for the houses and trees. I had a 34-piece fat quarter tower that I had waiting for the perfect pattern and added more complementary fabrics. Have fun with this one. Lots of fun choices are available to make your own friendly neighborhood.

PRIOR TO COMING TO CLASS:

I am working on a cutting chart for easy preparation and will be sending it to all class attendees once it is completed. I have scheduled three days for the first session of the class to discuss how I have chosen the placements of my fabrics and other tips.
