Posh Spring - Medford

Let’s get together in March for April showers to bring May flowers. Posh Spring is a little more difficult than the other Sew Kind Of Wonderful wall hangings we have made (Posh Wreath and/or Posh Jack-O), but it is so cute. Just look at those raindrops, and who doesn’t love a
tulip?

SUPPLIES:

Basic sewing supplies
Needles
Thread
Scissors
Rotary cutter (45 mm)
Seam ripper
Pins
Rotating mat (optional but helpful)
Machine in good working order. Power cord and foot control. (Have you changed your needle recently and cleaned the fuzz out?)

SPECIFIC SUPPLIES NEEDED FOR THIS CLASS:

QCR Mini Ruler and Sew Square by Sew Kind Of Wonderful
Tweezers
Cutting mat (combo cutting/ironing helpful)
Small iron (this pattern has extensive ironing)
80/12 sharp micro-tex needles
¼” foot (preferably without the flange)

PRIOR TO COMING TO CLASS:

Please cut your chosen fabrics according to the “General Cutting” instructions on page 1. I HIGHLY recommend that you mark your pattern with descriptions of the fabrics you are using for umbrellas 1, 2 and 3. To make construction easier I recommend that you use Zip Lock bags for the background and rain marking the measurements on the bag. There are considerable pieces, and it will take valuable sewing time during class if you must measure each of your pieces for placement.
